Get the Markdown Web client

The native client is a browser for the Markdown Web: type a .md URL and your machine renders it as a clean, native document — no embedded web browser, no HTML. Today it ships the faithful basic render; AI personalities come next.

Install

  1. Run TheMarkdownWeb-Setup.exe.
  2. It's self-contained — nothing else to install (no .NET runtime needed).
  3. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say “unknown publisher.” Choose More info → Run anyway.
  4. Launch The Markdown Web, then open a page — e.g. paste a themarkdownweb.com/….md URL into the address bar.

Windows 10/11 (x64). Trouble with the button? Grab it from the latest release. macOS and Linux clients are on the roadmap.
